Is your body giving you warning signals?
So many of us are experiencing being overwhelmed. Life is happening to us and through us at faster speeds via our nervous systems. I don’t know if our nervous systems can truly handle all of this, at this pace. I know my has trouble with it.
If we add to this any past traumas we experienced, it puts us into overload. We experience this by noticing either we shut down (distractions and addictions of all sorts) or we go into hyper-drive. Both modes of our nervous system creates an imbalance in us. It is not a healthy state to live in.
“It is easy to forget that stress is one of your body’s warning signals that tells you something is out of whack. Ignoring those signals, especially your emotions, you could become so accustomed to the stimulation of stress, ongoing tension and strain that stress can start to seem normal. When a lot of people in a particular environment are stressed, they can create a climate that makes it more difficult for ay one person to see his or her own stress clearly. When you have a whole culture using high performance, sometimes people don’t want to admit it or address it.” – Henry J Kahn, M.D.
Science is now showing us the effect of our thoughts, feelings, emotions and behaviors are impacting the groups we live in. This is called social coherence.
Take a look at the family you live in. What is the field environment of that? Look at your work environment, what is the “energetic” norm of that?
When we shift to our heart, breathe, shift to a more renewing emotion, we actually can influence others around us. You can even ask your heart for guidance on what attitude can I bring to this situation that would bring more ease and less stress?
As you shift your energy observe what happens around you and through you 😉
Do your own experiments and let me know what you discover.
