Politics needs an upgrade!

The reason I think politics needs an upgrade is due to the chaos and divisiveness that I see and hear going on, in our country and around the world. Upgrading from fear to love.  Just one finger away;-)

On a spiritual level, it is the age old battle in the dualistic mind of good/bad, right/wrong/, my needs/your needs/ worlds needs.  I could even go so far as light/darkness.  In these polarities I find no peace.

I was in a class a few years ago conducted by Mark Gerson.  He said politics is meant to be divisive.  Think about that one for a moment.  It’s very nature is to separate us into camps.

Global Oneness day was last week.  The conversations were inspiring!  Everyone spoke of what is possible, the work being done in the world, that our media does not report. About aligning with the Center and Heart.

Years ago there was a call for positive media.  Very few came.  Why?  We are all at some level addicted to the drama, to our nervous systems being in high alert, watching for danger.  This is not our fault, it is how we are wired so we can survive.  However in this state, we can’t see other possibilities .

Our tendency is to go horizontal.  What I mean by this we give so much attention to what our senses our taking in.  Right now, I hear so much fear based talk, from both political parties.  In the fear state we don’t and can’t make wise choices. (cortisol inhibition). Many are about me, mine, tribal ways.  This no longer serves the new humanity that we are a part of.

Going vertical is one answer. Alignment with the center, with our hearts.  Christian tradition, have the cross.  Jewish tradition the star of David.  Both have an intersection at the center.

The invitation when going into the voting booth, is to take time to align with Source/Love/Highest and best for all.  I know changing my own frequency in that booth made a huge difference for me.
