Problems of imbalance of masculine and feminine energy.

Inspiring women with Soul conference Lynn Twist told of Cherokee prophecy for the 21st century:

“The bird of humanity has been flying for centuries with only one wing, the masculine wing, which is entirely masculine overextended,  overworked, overtaxed, working hard that it  has become violent.The feminine wing has not been extended.  It has been repressed and held back and therefore the bird of humanity has been flying in circles.  The feminine in everyone needs to be honored and expressed in order for the bird of humanity to come into balance and soar, which is prophesied to happen in the 21st century.”

Think, observe and take in what is happening in the world right now.  The MeToo movement.  The Oscars platform to address the need for equality.  Movies coming out made by women, such as the Wrinkle in Time.

All over the world we are witnessing this rise in the Feminine energy.  I don’t hear an angry cry.  I hear voices of Intuition, compassion, wisdom, understanding, accepting, inner knowing, vision, inclusion and nurturing.  We all have these feminine qualities in us.

As these energies become more pervasive it can balance that lower masculine energy of aggression, ambitious drive, carelessness, inflexibility, obstinacy, predatory and ego-proving.

I loved the part of flying in circles!  Think of our history..his-story, we keep repeating the same things, wars, dominance, separation and not considering the longer term consequences of our actions. I also have these energies in me.
